Athena Lallouette

Athena underwent specialized training at Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris, enabling her to obtain certification as an orthoptist. She is also registered and recognized in the Swiss national registry of healthcare professionals (NAREG).

Through her hospital experience in specialized departments such as the Pitié Salpêtrière Hospital and the Rothschild Ophthalmological Foundation, Athéna has gained extensive expertise in complex refraction, pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, and neuro-orthoptics.

During her practice in private centers in the cantons of Vaud, Valais, and Geneva, she has contributed to the postgraduate training in ophthalmology for physicians (FMH), as well as the clinical and theoretical continuing education of opticians, optometrists, and orthoptists.

Athena is fluent in both English and French, allowing her to conduct international consultations for adults and children.

She is passionate about ophthalmic research and vision sciences, currently working on several scientific publications. Her commitment to research reflects her desire to further deepen her knowledge and improve ophthalmic care for her patients. Additionally, she is regularly invited to present her research at international ophthalmology congresses.

In her free time, Athena enjoys skiing, yoga, and spending time with her Sphynx cat.
