Urgent symptoms
Certain acute eye symptoms, including sudden loss of vision, severe pain, severe trauma, black veil or flashes accompanied by new floaters, require prompt evaluation by an appropriate emergency department.
If in doubt, or if no suitable emergency appointment is available online, do not hesitate to contact our secretariat directly or consult the ophthalmological emergency department of the Geneva University Hospitals.
